Share and Complete the Trans and BIPOC Needs Assessment!

We are in our 1st year, and this needs assessment will help us plan, fundraise, and develop infrastructure that our community wants and needs. The survey is 25 questions and takes about 15 minutes to complete.

Your individual info will not be shared outside of our org, and we will raffle off a $30 visa gift card after all results are in.

Want to share your talents/expertise with the community while contributing to something meaningfull? Looking to make friends while learning skills? Enjoy working on interesting projects?

We’re looking for volunteers in the following areas:

  • Admin (ie. research, budgeting, email reminders, proofreading, etc.)

  • Communications (social media, newsletters, etc.) 

  • Graphic designer (help make a logo, brand kit, and marketing materials) 

  • Fundraising (ie. Grant writing, donor cultivation, etc.) 

  • Building (ie. shade structure, tent platforms, composting toilet, yurt, etc.)

  • Land stewardship (ie. trail making, weed removal, planting garden, etc.)

  • Beautification (ie. painting murals, gathering art materials, etc.)

  • Programming (ie. co-plan an event, DJ a party, give free bodywork, etc.)

We ask that volunteers commit to a minimum of 5 hours of work, and we prioritize volunteers who can show up more. This commitment can be at any frequency (1 hour per week, a single 5-hour day, two hours per month, etc.).Fill out the application and we will let you know about oppportunities that fit your skills and interests.

Contribute Financially

Can you chip in to help create programming and infrastructure for trans and BIPOC artists to thrive? Every dollar you give is tax-deductible and monthly donations are even better so that we can build sustainability.

  • $30 buys food for an artist resident for a weekend

  • $60 buys art supplies for a workshop

  • $120 pays a BIPOC DJ

  • $500 pays to build a wheelchair accessible path to our amenities

  • $1000 pays to build a yurt platform so that we can host events year-round

Join the Community Advisory Board

Do you have experience in fundraising, land management, or running an artist residency? We are looking for Community Advisory Board (CAB) members who can collaborate to develop programming, increase organizational capacity, and build partnerships. CAB members spend 2-3 hours per month supporting Trans Bloom through virtual meetings and/or follow-up tasks.

We are a majority trans and BIPOC organization, but we are open to advisors of various identities who are committed to supporting trans BIPOC leadership and demonstrating anti-racist values.
